A new series of blog posting being done by the members of PVQG.
We want to show you that we SEW where we LIVE and LIVE where we SEW...

The words of Sandra Famuliner...
My name is Sandra Famuliner and also go by a nickname of "Crickett"  I became a stay at home mother 24 years ago and sewed alot of clothes for my children.  Once homemade garments had run their course, I was introduced to the wonderful world of quilting.  I have been making quilts for 10 years.  My sewing spot is in our bedroom dormer.  I do leave the ironing board out and it does become a catchall for my ironing pile.

We Sew where we Live...

A new series of blog posting being done by the members of PVQG.

The words of Teresa (Terry) Holt...
Hi Everyone, I am a disabled Nurse of 30 years and started sewing while in High School and started quilting about 2 years ago. I started quilting after being introduced to the Sew Sweet Quilt Shop by a friend, we started sewing together after that and i sew as much as possible now, when i don't have my grandkids. I started sewing in the sewing/computer room  and the dining room table in my house. I don't know if my husband got tired of the sewing stuff laying around or got tired of Donna and i sewing in the dining room sewing all the time. But my lovely husband started building a building near our house last fall and finally told me that this would be the HEN HUT for me and Donna quote unquote the " The Sewing Hut". He built me my own building to quilt in. I have so much storage and room to sew in now that it has become my sancturary IT IS GREAT and I Love the Ladies at Sew Sweet they are the GREATEST!

Thanks Teresa (Terry) Holt.

Barbara Dearing says...

I am a retired special education teacher.  I have sewn for many years but have been quilting the last 12 years. I have sewn in my living room and my computer/spare room but last fall I took over the "back porch" room as my sewing room and I love being able to leave things out and come back to them when I am ready to sew again.

Thanks Barbara Dearing!
